New 11-story, approximately 200,000 gross square foot hotel above a one-story, 80-car parking garage. The structure is a mild-reinforced two-way flat plate with concrete shearwalls. The structure is designed for 35,000 square feet of vertical expansion for future guestrooms.
Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites Hotels
Arundel Mills, Maryland
Eleven-story building containing two name brand hotels stacked one above the other and sharing some common services. The total building area is 180,000 gross square feet. The structural systems are primarily cast-in-place mild-reinforced and post-tensioned two-way slabs supported by concrete columns, shearwalls and spread footing foundations.
