Francis Scott Key Middle School

This facility is a two-story, masonry-clad replacement middle school with a total area of approximately 135,000 square feet. The building is organized as four elements: two-story classroom wings, cafeteria and music room wing, gymnasiums and locker rooms wing, and a media center/administrative wing. The building is primarily framed with structural steel. The project has achieved LEED Gold Certification.
Landon School
Barton Athletic Center Addition
Bethesda, Maryland
This project involved removal of an existing 5,600 square foot low roof area from an athletic facility that was built in the 1970's and replacing it with a new second floor wrestling room (structural steel framed mezzanine) and a new raised roof structure. The structural work included reanalysis of the existing caisson foundations and supplementing these with new foundations.
