Structural Condition Survey of Five Separate Garages

Holbert Apple Associates surveyed five separate garages, gathered samples and tested for chlorides at two of the garages and prepared reports that addressed the structural condition of all five garages. The reports included budge estimates of the recommended repairs for each garage.
Contract documents were prepared for one of the older post-tensioned concrete garages (shown) which is now repaired. Contract documents are now being prepared for concrete and plaza waterproofing repairs to another garage.

Extensive field condition survey, preparation of repair construction documents and construction phase services. The garage repairs included broken post-tensioning tendons, new entrance aprons, trench drains embedded in girders, top of slabs, girders, piers and concrete wall cracking. The brick facade repairs included adding ties back to the garage structure, saw cutting of additional control joints, replacing dislodged and broken face brick, repointing and replacing sealant joints.
