Fit-out of the ground floor of a new building for an upscale, 200-seat, 8,000 square foot restaurant. Structural work included adding raised platform seating areas, a mezzanine level over an adjacent retail store, supports for a barrel vault ceiling and marble-clad feature wall and review of X-rays for more than fifty coredrills through the existing two-way concrete flat slab.
Cowles Ford Renovation
Prince William County, Virginia
Conversion of a 100,000 square foot warehouse retail building into a new car dealership showroom and service center. This project received an Excellence in Structural Engineering Award for structural renovation projects, presented by the Structural Engineers Association of Metropolitan Washington (SEA/MW).
